A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep. We use as few as we can get away with. Two kinds are optional, and you can accept the measurement without accepting the marketing tag. This page lists every one, what it is for and how long it lasts.

Always on
These make the shop work. Without them a cart empties itself, a login does not stick and checkout cannot verify a payment. They carry no advertising or profiling value, and there is no way to switch them off while still using the site.

Analytics, only if you accept
These tell us which pages get read, which plugins get looked at and roughly how people arrive. They stay on our own site and are not used to build an advertising profile. None of it is set until you choose Analytics only or Accept all. If you decline, or ignore the banner, they are never written.

Marketing, only if you accept
One tag, the Meta pixel. It tells Meta when a visit or a purchase came from one of our adverts on Facebook or Instagram, so we can see which ones work, and lets us show our adverts on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited. This is a separate question from analytics for one reason: Meta can recognize the same browser identifier on other sites running its pixel, rather than it staying on ours. Nothing here is set unless you choose Accept all, and if you do not, the Meta script is never downloaded at all.

Advertising
This site runs no Google advertising tags. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization are switched off in Google Consent Mode and stay off whatever you choose here. We do not sell what we collect. If you accept marketing cookies, we may show you adverts for our plugins on Facebook and Instagram after you have visited. If you decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, that never happens.
The one thing we will not claim is that nothing leaves this site. If you accept marketing, the Meta identifier above can be read by Meta on other sites running its pixel. That is precisely why it is asked as a separate question, and declining it costs you nothing here.
Changing your mind
Use the button at the top of this page, or Your privacy choices in the footer of any page. Withdrawing does more than stop the next write: whatever is already on your device for the category you switched off is deleted at the same moment, cookies and local storage both. If the tag had already loaded on the page you were reading, that page reloads, so it cannot simply write the identifier back. You can also clear cookies in your own browser settings at any time, which we will treat as a fresh start and ask again.
Server logs
Separately from cookies, our host keeps standard server logs including IP addresses and browser information. These are used to keep the site up and to spot abuse. They are not cookies and are not affected by the choice above.
For everything else we hold, including orders, accounts and license keys, see the privacy policy.
