Every move an 808 needs, in one plugin.
Saturation, punch, bass harmonics, a tracked sub, parallel compression and kick ducking, laid out left to right in the order the 808 runs through them. One faceplate instead of a chain of five plugins.
Signal flow
The faceplate reads the way the signal moves. Every section has its own switch, so you can build the 808 one stage at a time and hear what each one adds.
Two flavours of drive, with an input trim in front. PAR ONLY puts it on the compressed path alone.
Brings the front of each note forward so the 808 lands with the kick.
Adds harmonics above a crossover you set, so the 808 still reads on small speakers.
A sub that follows the note, with its own boost and CLASSIC or COMBO voicing.
Threshold, ratio and knee on a parallel path, blended against the dry signal. A path filter and full detector timing set what it reacts to.
Ducks the 808 under the kick from a sidechain, across the full band or the lows only.
Mono below 120 Hz, auto gain, a global mix and a safe clip at -0.3 dBFS.
See every layer you add.The spectrum draws the saturation harmonics, the bass harmonics, the sub and where the compressor is focused, over the input and output.
A meter for the parallel path. The needle reads the compressed path only, and PAR LIFT shows how much it adds over the dry signal.
Parallel compression, fully exposed.Threshold, ratio, knee and blend, plus the path filter and detector timing most plugins hide.
An 808 that hits on a phone and still shakes a club, from one plugin, in the order it should run.
